Dennis Witcher
Dennis has over eight years in the grooming industry. After 27 years in the RCMP, Dennis decided to try civilian life. He did a couple years in life insurance and then returned to flying. As he spent most of his RCMP years as a police pilot this was a natural fit for him. However after charter flying he decided to try his hand at something more down to earth. With two Scottish Terriers and a love of dogs he approached one of Canada’s foremost dog experts. She agreed to take him on as an apprentice. Having completed the JKL Grooming Course and the hands on apprenticeship, Dennis began his new career.
He operated a successful mobile grooming operation for several years then opened his own shop. He has now sold the shop and is grooming part time here at the MacEwan Clinic. He loves dogs and enjoys the interaction with the pets and their human care givers.
